FindaTradie – Registered Tradie Terms and Conditions

Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all tradespeople (“Tradies”) who register, subscribe, or list their services on the FindaTradie platform. By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or listing your business, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

Nature of the Platform
FindaTradie operates as an online directory and lead platform connecting homeowners with independent tradespeople. FindaTradie does not provide trade services and is not a party to any contract between you and any customer. You operate as an independent business at all times.

Eligibility
You must be a legitimate business operating in the UK and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information at all times. We reserve the right to request documentation to verify your identity, business status, or qualifications.

Approval and Listing Rights
All listings are subject to approval. FindaTradie reserves the absolute right to accept, reject, suspend, or remove any listing at its sole discretion. This includes where a business does not align with our values, standards, or expectations. Approval of a listing does not constitute endorsement or guarantee.

Conduct and Standards
By using the platform, you agree to:

Conduct your business in a professional and lawful manner

Treat customers with respect and integrity

Provide accurate and honest information

Deliver services to a reasonable professional standard

You must not:

Mislead customers

Engage in fraudulent, unethical, or illegal activity

Damage the reputation of FindaTradie or other users

Removal, Suspension, and Termination
FindaTradie reserves the right to immediately suspend or permanently remove your listing and account without notice if:

You breach these Terms

You are found to be acting unprofessionally or inappropriately

You receive consistent negative feedback or complaints

You are deemed to be damaging the reputation of the platform

You no longer meet our standards or values

Where removal or suspension occurs for breach or misconduct:

No refund will be issued under any circumstances

This reflects standard directory practice where platforms may terminate accounts and services for breaches without liability

Membership Fees and Refunds
All membership fees are non-refundable once your listing has been approved and published. This applies regardless of usage, performance, or results. No refunds will be provided if your account is suspended or terminated due to breach of these Terms.

Leads and Enquiries
FindaTradie may provide access to customer leads. However, we do not guarantee:

The volume of leads

The quality or accuracy of leads

That any lead will result in work

Leads are provided as an opportunity only, and no outcome is guaranteed.

Independent Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:

All work undertaken

All agreements with customers

Pricing, contracts, and service delivery

Compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations

FindaTradie accepts no responsibility for your business operations or outcomes.

Branding and Use of FindaTradie Name
You may use FindaTradie branding only while you are an active, approved member in good standing.

If your membership ends for any reason (including cancellation, non-renewal, or termination), you must immediately:

Remove all FindaTradie branding from your website

Remove branding from vehicles, uniforms, and marketing materials

Cease any representation that you are affiliated with FindaTradie

Failure to do so may result in legal action.

Intellectual Property
All FindaTradie branding, logos, content, and materials remain the property of FindaTradie. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use branding solely for the purpose of promoting your listing while your membership is active.

No Guarantee of Results
FindaTradie does not guarantee:

Business growth

Lead conversion

Increased revenue

Any specific results

The platform provides exposure and opportunities only.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FindaTradie shall not be liable for:

Loss of income, business, or profit

Loss of opportunities

Disputes between you and customers

Any indirect or consequential losses

You acknowledge that use of the platform is at your own risk.

Reviews and Reputation
FindaTradie may display reviews and ratings relating to your business. We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or retain reviews at our discretion. You must not attempt to manipulate reviews or submit false feedback.

Changes to the Platform
FindaTradie reserves the right to modify, update, or remove any part of the platform, including features, pricing, or services, at any time without notice.

Non-Compete / Platform Misuse
You must not use the platform to:

Harvest customer data for external resale

Redirect leads away from the platform in a deceptive manner

Compete directly using copied systems, branding, or data

Termination by User
You may cancel your membership at any time; however:

No refunds will be issued for any unused period

Your listing will remain active until the end of your paid term unless removed earlier

Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Acceptance
By registering, subscribing, or listing your business on FindaTradie, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
